New research by a money-saving website in the UK has revealed that two fifths of Britons have watched at least one celebrity sex tape with Kim Kardashian’s sex tape topping the list of most watched, followed by Pamela Anderson and Hulk Hogan. Kim Kardashian, Pamela Anderson and Hulk Hogan’s sex tapes are the most watched, with Abi Titmuss and Tulisa both making it into the top 10, a new poll has revealed.

The team at conducted the research as part of an ongoing study into Britons attitudes towards celebrity culture. 2,478 Britons aged 18 and over, all of whom stated they followed celebrities, whether via social media, magazines or otherwise, were quizzed.

Initially all respondents were asked ‘Have you watched a celebrity sex tape?’ to which 42% of participants stated they ‘yes’ had. Wanting to delve a little deeper, all respondents were then asked which celebrity sex tapes they had watched, with the following 10 emerging as the most popular:

Kim Kardashian – 52%
Pamela Anderson – 41%
Hulk Hogan – 33%
Paris Hilton – 26%
Abi Titmuss – 23%
Colin Farrell – 18%
Tulisa – 13%
Verne Troyer – 11%
Gene Simmons – 5%
Rob Lowe – 2%

All respondents were then asked how they had heard about the sex tape/s that they had watched; 61% said a friend told them about it, 18% said they had read about it online and the remaining 21% said they found it themselves. When asked why they watched them, almost half of respondents (47%) cited ‘curiosity’ as the reason for doing so.

According to the poll, when asked if they had watched the celebrity sex tapes with anyone, 57% confessed to watching them alone, whilst 29% watched them with friends and 14% had watched with their partner. Furthermore, when asked if they’d ever made their own sex tape, a third of respondents, 32%, stated that ‘yes’ they have. Of those who had, 61% admitted they don’t have the only copy, but 83% aren’t concerned that their tape could be leaked online.

George Charles, spokesperson for, made the following comments:

“What we do in our private lives should always remain private unless all parties involve say otherwise. Although celebrity sex tapes are interesting to watch, and sometimes even funny, we do have to remember that they are people too. It’s easy to judge and ridicule them for partaking in the video but it would seem the majority of Britons have also created their own home movies and I doubt they’d be too happy if they ended up online for the world to see.
